Itsuki Sakamoto, a teenager from Osaka is set to appear in a new video from Tokyo based crew Kabéb dropping this weekend. Brought into the spotlight with a push from local photographer Junji Murata.
大阪のティーンエイジャー阪本 樹（さかもと・いつき）。東京を拠点にするスケートクルー壁部の新作ビデオに出演予定。ローカルフォトグラファーJunji Murataのプッシュを受けて登場。

First off, can you introduce yourself?
I’m Itsuki Sakamoto, 14 years old, living in Osaka. I don’t have an Instagram… Maybe I had a secret account posting tons of street skate clips and it got banned—or at least I wish that was the reason. Truth is, I probably got flagged for uploading a video of my friend in the bath (lol).

What got you into skating? Do you remember your very first memory of it?
I didn’t really have any hobbies, and my mom suggested I try skateboarding. That’s how it all started.

What was the first skate video that really got you hooked?
Kento Yoshioka-san’s part in LENZ III part ! So good.
Q.
What’s your local skate spot like? Do you still skate there?
It’s basically just flat ground, but there’s a skatepark nearby so I usually go there.

How does your family feel about you skating? Are they supportive?
Yeah, they give me great support!
Q.
Got any songs that instantly hype you up?
City pop stuff gets me going.
Q.
Who's your skate-god?
ento Yoshioka-san.
Q.
Anything you're into besides skating?
I’m into old Japanese cars—especially the S2000. That one’s my favorite.

What’s a trick you’re confident with, and one you suck at but are working on?
My go-to is the Airwalk. Lately I’ve been working on Impossible.

It’s pouring all day—what’s your move from morning to night?
Stay home and play video games.
Q.
When does skating feel the most hyped for you?
When the line just keeps flowing non-stop.

On the flip side, what’s something that really kills your vibe?
When I just can’t land anything. That sucks hard.
Q.
Any YouTube channels you’ve been watching a lot lately?
Orochin-yu.

We heard you’re in the new video from Kabéb! Got any stories from filming?
Kabéb boss Yuta-san and the crew came to Osaka, and Muraccho-san took me out filming. I randomly came up with a bank-in trick on the spot. It was actually pretty tough, but I landed it—and that’s the photo in this feature.

If you had to compare your skating to an animal, what would it be? And why? 🐒🦉🦎
A leopard—because I go hard.

What do you think you’ll be doing 10 years from now?
Skating and street racing.

まずは自己紹介をお願いします。
阪本樹（さかもと・いつき）です、年齢は14歳で今住んでるとこは大阪です。インスタは...ありません。多分裏アカでストリートをいっぱいあげててバンされました、と思いたいのですが、ホントはふざけて友達の風呂シーンをアップしちゃったからやと思います(笑)。

最初にハマったスケートビデオは？

スケートを始めたきっかけって何だった？
趣味も何もなかったときに、お母さんにスケボーをすすめられたからです。

地元のスケートスポットってどんなとこ？いまも滑ってる？
フラットしかない場所ですがスケートパークが近くにあるのでそこに行きます。

家族はスケートにどんな反応？今は応援してくれてる？
応援してくれてます。

壁部のユータくんたちが大阪に来てて、ムラッチョくんに撮影に連れて行ってもらったらノリでバンクイントリックを思いつきました。結構ムズかったけど乗れました！それが今回の写真です。

スケート以外にハマってることある？
日本の旧車にハマってて、その中でもS2000と言う車が好きです。

得意トリックと、なんか苦手だけど練習してるトリックは？
得意なトリックはエアウォークで最近練習してるのはインポッシブルです。

日は一日大雨！朝から夜までどう過ごす？
家でゲームします。

スケートしてて一番テンション上がる瞬間って？
ラインがずっと続いてる時。

逆に「うわ～これはキツい」って思う瞬間は？
全然技が決まらない時。
