adidas Skateboarding drops their latest video, “East North Central”, a raw street montage that digs deep into the crusty concrete of the American Midwest. Directed by Greg Hunt, The crew hits spots that probably only local skaters would know, turning overlooked city corners into the perfect field. Yeah let's dig our town too.

Born in the ancient city of Kyoto, where the Sanjo Bridge stands, Kokua , now 17 years old. Slipping beneath the grid-like streets, rising and falling, turning westward, turning eastward. guidance, and let there be light.
古都京都、三条大橋が架かるこの街で産まれた克吾(コクア)現在17歳。碁盤の地下に忍び込み、上る下る西入ル東入ル。導かれよ、光あれ。

What made you start skateboarding?


I started when I got a hand-me-down skateboard from my relative.

Hiuchigata skate-park in Kyoto.

Complete the mission like Ninja.

It’s like my second home, with a fun mix of skaters and non-skating communities.

Getting a nice clip at 6 a.m. on the second day.
